GAZARAMALLAHJERUSALEM http://www.newjerseydevilsteamstore.com … aid-jersey , Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Two Palestinians were killed and four Israelis were wounded on Friday in another day of violent clashes between Israel and the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, officials said.

In Gaza, a 23-year-old Palestinian young man was shot dead and nine wounded in clashes on Friday between dozens of young men and Israeli soldiers at the borderline area between the Gaza Strip and Israel.

Ashraf al-Qedra, spokesman for the Gaza health ministry, said that Salama Abu Jame'a, from the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis, was killed and nine others were injured by Israeli troops' gunfire.

Witnesses said that dozens of young men rushed to the borderline area between the Gaza Strip and Israel and clash with the Israeli soldiers. The soldiers fired back tear gas, rubber bullets and live ammunition.

Al-Qedra said that 18 Palestinian young men were killed and more than 300 wounded since the beginning of the wave of tension between Israel and the Palestinians that started in Oct. 1 allover the Palestinian territories.

In the West Bank, the Palestinian health ministry said that a 72-year-old woman was shot dead after she drove a car that ran over several Israeli soldiers near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, where one soldier was injured.

The health ministry said in an official emailed statement that Tharwat Sha'rawi, 72, died after she was critically wounded when Israeli soldiers opened fire at her while she was driving her car near Hebron.

A wave of tension and violent confrontations broke out in early October allover the Palestinian territories between Israel and the Palestinians. The wave of tension had so far killed 78 Palestinians and 11 Israelis and wounded more than 2,000 in both sides.

The Palestinians call the wave of violence in the Palestinian territories "the Intifada of al-Quds" or the Uprising against Israel following the Israeli measures of dividing al-Aqsa Mosque compound in east Jerusalem in late September, while Israel calls it a wave of terrorism.

Similar clashes had also broken out in the West Bank, mainly near Ramallah and in the southern city of Hebron. The Palestinian health ministry said that more than ten Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire.

Meanwhile, Israeli public radio reported that three Israelis were injured on Friday in two separate incidents; two of them were injured in a shooting attack at an Israeli army barrier in Hebron and one Israeli was injured after he was stabbed by a Palestinian north of Jerusalem. The attacker managed to escape. The Israelis said in a statement that they are currently hunting the attacker.

In Gaza, Ismail Radwan, a senior Islamic Hamas movement leader told a rally in Gaza city to back the Palestinian uprising against Israel in the West Bank said "all Palestinian factions are standing one hand to keep the Intifada flaring."

"We should work hard on developing our people's Intifada and develop its tools. This Intifada is the real response to the Israeli aggression, also to defend al-Aqsa Mosque which and against the endless settlement's expansion which swallowed the Palestinian lands," said Radwan.
